Over the weekend i went down to Evansville to my buddies club house, and this is where every year is a bash. with everybody that lives down there that host the event. there was a live band and many other things to do, Kenny which is my friend that invited everybody from your group for friends to go,and also the guy who owns the club house. all night Kenny didn't think anybody was going to show up, but he was wrong it ended up being a blow out. There was people every where. I saw people i see all the time, and i even saw people i don't even see that much any more. and there also were some people that got a little to drunk and another buddy of mine took some videos and there going to be on facebook soon, and i feel bad for those people. but all and all great night.

sad shit
Last night the camp Jackson fire department had their weekly meeting we get a call around 6 o’clock requesting man power of the search of a boy who went missing. The Marisa fire department wanted 7 or 8 members from each station to meet there by 7 o’clock. The boy went missing the day before, and people were searching that night then had called if off and then had started it back up the next day. We had all got to the fire house in Marisa and there had to be about 300 fire fighters there. We then went out to look for the kid and then he was found in a matter of minutes he was found. I am sure you know how and where the kid was found if you watch the news but right now at this point in time the fire department will not let me say too much, but it was very sad and I send my prays to the family.

on his 30 day
Last night was the camp Jackson fire departments big monthly meeting, the meetings talk a lot about what we do wrong and what we are doing right. We voted for the board, like the president, and vp and ect. The meeting started at 7 o’clock last night and ended at 2 o’clock in the morning, so right now it is about 8:18 a.m and I am very tired. But something good also happened last night I got voted on my 30 probationary period, that is where I am on the department but I cant make fire calls for the next month. But what I do is go to all the training and they observe me and see how I am doing to see if I am ready to go inside structure fires. Structure fires are very scary people loss there lives all the time in freak accidents, but on the other hand I am willing to risk my life for anyone on the department and anyone in field of duty. I also applied of a new job at the st clair county jail, for the DSA position. The only shitty thing about that is that it is not beind a police officer, but it gets a foot in the door.

hard choices
It all started Friday morning when I had to get up and leave my house for work, at four in the morning. First of all I was very tired and on top of all that it had rained all week, and I landscape, so if it rains it holds us back. So I already knew it was going to be along day, and I even knew I was going to have to work on Saturday. When you work Saturdays it ruins your weekend, just because it is Saturday doesn’t mean that we came in at a later time in the morning, it means that we come in at the same time we do every day which is five. Friday was a lot longer than everyone thought it was going to be. We didn’t get off till eight o’clock that night, and there was no way I was going home and going out that night. Like I said it ruins were weekend. And the only part I hated about having to work on that Saturday is that my best buddy was leaving for the army and Tuesday and the only days he was going to hang out and party was Friday and Saturday night. Well Friday night was gone and the bad news was that I had already made plans a month in advance for another one of my buddies birthday bash in Evansville at his club house. When Saturday night rolled around after another long day of work I couldn’t decide what to do, stick to my commitment or go see my best friend at his party before he leaves. I know it sounds like a hard choice, but when the birthday boy called and asked if I was still coming, I didn’t know what to say but before I even had a chance to say anything, he said, “don’t forget about the two kegs I got for tonight.” I quickly said ok I’ll be there. I pretty much put a hole in my pocket trying to get my keys out to start my car. And ya when it comes down to it should have at least stopped by and visited my best friend before he left. But the past is past and beer always is good.
