It all started Friday morning when I had to get up and leave my house for work, at four in the morning. First of all I was very tired and on top of all that it had rained all week, and I landscape, so if it rains it holds us back. So I already knew it was going to be along day, and I even knew I was going to have to work on Saturday. When you work Saturdays it ruins your weekend, just because it is Saturday doesn’t mean that we came in at a later time in the morning, it means that we come in at the same time we do every day which is five. Friday was a lot longer than everyone thought it was going to be. We didn’t get off till eight o’clock that night, and there was no way I was going home and going out that night. Like I said it ruins were weekend. And the only part I hated about having to work on that Saturday is that my best buddy was leaving for the army and Tuesday and the only days he was going to hang out and party was Friday and Saturday night. Well Friday night was gone and the bad news was that I had already made plans a month in advance for another one of my buddies birthday bash in Evansville at his club house. When Saturday night rolled around after another long day of work I couldn’t decide what to do, stick to my commitment or go see my best friend at his party before he leaves. I know it sounds like a hard choice, but when the birthday boy called and asked if I was still coming, I didn’t know what to say but before I even had a chance to say anything, he said, “don’t forget about the two kegs I got for tonight.” I quickly said ok I’ll be there. I pretty much put a hole in my pocket trying to get my keys out to start my car. And ya when it comes down to it should have at least stopped by and visited my best friend before he left. But the past is past and beer always is good.
Well, that sucks to work on Saturday's, I KNOW. That absolutley ruins a weekend. I really sucks to not be able to go out after work, especially when you go in EARLY and get off LATE. You are just SO TIRED that you just want to go home and crash and do nothing. Abosolutley cool video. I wanna see that for real and in person. Have fun and enjoy life while you are young. Go out and party, but remember you are in school and need to get goods grades, so get your homework done. Enjoy the week and hopefully next weekend will be better for you.
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel about working late and getting up early the next day. I work at a golf club so we have weddings or any kind of parties. A lot of the time I have to work those banquets until about 12 or 1 in the morning sometimes even later, then drive 40 minutes home try to sleep then be back at work at 7 in the morning to help tend to the golfers. So some weekends I might not get to go out which makes me mad but hey I have to make some money to be able to live.
